Look no further, Business Consultants

A frontline, hands-on role where you’ll be growing and then sharing your expertise to guide our clients during the implementation of our software. 

Whether providing training and assisting clients with the system's set-up and configuration or advising clients on new products and services, you will make sure that it all works smoothly, meeting each client’s scope and expectations. 

If you enjoy meeting new people, solving problems and having no two days the same, this will be an exciting role for you. The role is evolving, partly due to the challenges of COVID-19, and whilst travel is anticipated, we have also delivered our consulting services using remote consultancy, which has proven to be effective and beneficial.

Project Managers for pivotal roles

We’d like you to help us deliver our products and solutions effectively. It’s critical to our customers and us. We’ll rely on you to be a self-starter, to coordinate and plan numerous tasks, owning the project delivery from start to finish. As each of our client’s key contact, our project managers must seek to understand the functional domain, technical environment and most of all, the client’s goals and requirements for the project.

At HPD Lendscape, our client projects range from three months (and a few hundred days of effort) to large, multi-phase, multi-country implementations that can span over 18 months (or more).

As you know, to be an effective project manager, you need a calm disposition. Projects will always have unforeseen issues that need to be owned and managed. You may have challenging problems to solve. But the success of your project is down to your leadership skills and your, your team and your colleagues' efforts. 

Your ability to understand technology projects in the financial services industry is more important to us than many years of management experience, so even if you are looking to move into project management, please get in touch, especially if you:  

  • can deal with complex logistical challenges
  • are organised and efficient
  • can communicate clearly to all stakeholders and
  • have experience working in or delivering technology change projects.

Engineers who’d like to grow

You take a lot of pride in the software you build, and you have a clear focus on quality. That’s great; we’d love you to join us. You’re probably used to working in an agile environment, and that’s a real help. We are currently recruiting a number of different roles within the Engineering function. Our flexible career paths mean that you could progress to become a technical lead, a team leader or perhaps even both. You’ll be collaborating with a small, multi-disciplined squad within a wider engineering team. You and your team members will build high-quality software solutions that meet the business user’s needs ensuring it comes to market quickly and efficiently.

HPD Lendscape supports an interesting area of financial services with a high degree of complexity and increasing demands for technical innovation. It will give you many exciting challenges and problems to solve. Whilst for the past 20 years, HPD has focussed on writing Java, we have now a growing demand for React expertise to continue to enhance the functional breadth and usability of our software. On the data science and analytics side, we are looking for SQL developers driven by the desire to support our clients' (and their regulators), increasing hunger for data.

The company recently relocated its HQ to Wimbledon, in South West London, a major project carried out in 2020 and now offers an excellent office environment. The company also has satellite offices in California and Sydney to service clients in those regions, with commercial representatives in the US, Greece and Singapore,

Our Technology

Our industry-leading solutions are developed using Java and JavaScript software on mainstream technology frameworks like React and Spring Boot. Our software development life cycle and collaboration processes are built around the Atlassian toolset while supporting a range of deployment models from on-premise through to cloud-based SaaS, software-as-a-service. We are committed to continuous improvement, investing approximately 15% of our annual turnover in research and development. With an increasing demand for cloud-based digital solutions, our latest investments see us researching the latest technologies while paying back our technical debt.

We predominately offer a subscription-based pricing model with a very low churn in our client portfolio of less than 5%. Even during the pandemic, our robust finances delivered above-budgeted performance, which included £2m of software investments.
