Our flagship product is Lendscape, which supports a range of working capital financial solutions such as factoring, invoice discounting, supply chain finance, and asset-based lending (ABL). We are also developing an Asset Finance system, to be launched in 2021, enabling us to support the full range of secured lending products available to businesses.

Job role: Business Operations Lead

Location: London (Wimbledon) Currently remote

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Main function

The Business Operations Lead will be responsible for planning and monitoring the allocation of HPD’s global resources. They shall maintain a detailed plan working closely with the majority of the Senior Management Team as follows: 

  • With the Heads of each of Delivery, Consultancy, Engineering, Technical Services and Client Services to collate and maintain a resource and milestone plan across the entire business (the “Capacity Plan”). 
  • With the Heads of each of Sales and Commercial teams to understand the impact of the client pipeline on the Capacity Plan. 
  • With the Chief Financial Officer to collaborate on financial forecasting including P&L and cashflow and ensuring HPD maintains adequate staffing levels whilst protecting margin by determining how to deploy resources to the right place at the right time. 
  • With the Executive Committee to present what-if scenarios and options when the Capacity Plan points to current or future resource constraints. 
  • With the Head of People to assist with recruitment planning. 


This is a new role in an entrepreneurial and growing technology business. It shall require someone who is self-starting and capable of developing their own tools and methods to develop and maintain a Capacity Plan. At the same time it is the ideal role for someone who wishes to develop and shape the role and it is envisaged that the role shall evolve so above all it requires initiative and ambition. 

 Required Skills and competencies:

  • Relevant, recent and comprehensive experience in a similar role within an organisation delivering projects and / or implementing systems 
  • Experience of workforce planning 
  • Exceptional forecasting / demand planning capability 
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills 
  • The ability to advise senior members of the leadership team on business planning options 
  • Analytical capability coupled with the ability to translate large quantities of data into meaningful outcomes and recommendations 
  • Experience of working with JIRA and modelling demand in Excel whilst experience of enterprise resource planning tools advantageous 
  • Experience in technology, computer services or finance shall be an advantage.
