Job role: Senior SQL Report Writer
Location: Greater London (Wimbledon) - currently remote

Main function
To enhance our data visualisation strategy for the Lendscape product suite.
Required Skills and competencies
• Minimum 5 years of T-SQL based complex report development – using SQL2012; SQL2016, or SQL2019 where possible, on large multi-terabyte systems.
• In-depth understanding of the mechanics of SQL server query engine and how to develop optimised SQL queries.
• Ability to read and interpret SQL execution plans in order to identify query bottlenecks
• Ability to identify and apply appropriate index strategy to help improve SQL performance.
• Understanding DB maintenance requirements.
• Data warehousing & data modelling
• Proven track record of designing & implementing a reporting strategy.
• Excellent communication skills, including an ability to clearly communicate your vision, ideas, insights and feedback to a non-technical audience.
• Financial services experience
